The Librarians Knowledge Sharing Workshop (LKSW) is an annual professional development event for teacher-librarians and librarians who lead international schools libraries in Southeast Asia. The first LKSW was hosted at the Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur in 2012.
Its mission is to provide a welcoming environment for sharing and learning, where the delegates are the presenters together with additional keynote speakers, who are willing to give their time, at a minimal cost, to support this initiative.
It is an important part of the LKSW philosophy that participation fees are kept low so that those working in less well-funded schools are not deterred from participation.
